“Departure” is the final track before you leave the loft for now. I love the Prophet synth pads on this beat, and how the ring modulator effects appears every now and then. It’s a simple but effective little melody.
Like J Dilla did on his last album, the Return introduces the album, and the Departure ends it. I hope this track makes you return to the Loft for multiple listening sessions as well.
