about
«Impressions» is actually based on a Fender Rhodes recording by my father, Hans Peter Neergård. He came by the loft one of the times I was recording and sat down to play a few of his tunes as well as some
improvised chord progressions. Since it’s sampled and chopped up, Hans Peter did not recognize the recording, and did not feel the need to be credited for his playing. He said something like “This is your impression of what I played”, and that’s where the title came from.

I love all of BBNG's albums. (even the rougher BBNG2).
I find that Talk Memory has a high musical level throughout but maybe it lacks standout moments like the other albums all had.
Still, I listen to it all the time, it's a must have together with all the other BBNG albums. bonhomme7heures
